Only 2 hours and 17 minutes until the final episode of Lost Season 2 is downloaded to my computer! I am very excited. Three months ago I’d never watched a single episode. Then I watched Season 1 on DVD and after that was compelled to download all of Season 2 week by week. What can […]

Been reading about the latest Will Wright game that is in development. In case you haven’t heard of Will Wright, he’s the closest thing to Elvis in the world of game designers - made the Sims which is the biggest selling game of all time.
The new one (called Spore) is even more ambitious - you […]

Gosh I am blogging a lot today! And you know why, don’t you, loyal reader(s)? It’s because I have AN EXAM THIS AFTERNOON. Yes, in less than two hours, I shall be sitting in a large room with hundreds of people, 90% of whom are at least 19 years younger than me, trying desperately to […]

Just come off a ghastly working weekend where I did 14 hours each day. Nasty! I am still feeling a bit shell shocked but unfortunately more work to do today. I fear burnout is imminent!!

The recent financial crisis coupled with total lack of free time has led me down a path of thinking somewhat foreign to me. Yes folks, I’m now thinking RAMPANT CAPITALISM. I borrowed Rich Dad, Poor Dad from a friend, and though it was poorly written and somewhat right wing with its whole “poor people are […]

I was very amused however by a recent statement released by the show’s creators, Trey & Matt:

Just received my course notes for Cell Biology which includes instructions for all the lab work. Looks like the most living thing I’ll be cutting up is a rhubarb plant! And a bit of fiddling with human blood and mouse intestinal cells - but the main thing is, no cutting up of actual corpses.
I’m sure […]

At my chemistry tutorial last night, we made a start on organic chemistry. It is the area of chemistry that deals purely with carbon molecules. It was fascinating! We got to play with those little plastic models with spheres and rods, and learned all about the very rigid naming conventions for carbon molecules. And about […]

The nominations for the Academy Awards should be announced later today, an event that thrills me no end as I am an Oscar whore! We traditionally have a bit of an Oscar bash and this year will be no different, though we will have to persuade new punters of the crazy fun of laying down […]

…a new gay girl tv show addiction! And yes folks, I’ve found a good one. It’s a new US cable teen show called South of Nowhere, and the main character is a teenage girl questioning her sexuality and having an intense relationship with her best friend. It’s great! I have downloaded all the episodes from […]
