Frustratingly, there is no easy way to add a Javascript bookmarklet to your iPad, as I discovered today when using a new social site, Pinterest (great site by the way, I recommend it if you can score an invite). Like so many sharing sites, Pinterest utilises a bookmarklet to share things you like with others. Not everyone uses Safari or wants to sync their bookmarks with their iPad, the current Apple recommended method. There is a manual way to do it though!
Chris Bray has created a very useful page with manual bookmarklets for all the major sites, including Tumblr, Facebook, Google Reader and more. I’ve created this one for myself, for a Pinterest bookmarklet.
Instructions:
From Chris Bray:
1. Add this page as a bookmark
2. Select and copy the Javascript below to your clipboard.
3. Go to your bookmarks and edit the new bookmark. Edit the name and paste the Javascript in the field for the URL.
4. Done.

I can’t imagine this can break your iPad, but use at your own risk.
