How Fast is your Hearing Going Downhill?

// September 7th, 2006 // Internets, Life

You can still hear reasonably well and you can play this without my old fart colleagues hearing it which makes you feel kinda good.

The highest pitched ultrasonic mosquito ringtone that I can hear is 15.8kHz

Find out which ringtones you can hear!

Not so bad, in my twenties huh? I like it!!

I’ve moved into my office now and enjoying the freedom and ability to concentrate – but missing the little blighters that were distracting me! Alas.

    That is quite impressive. I was rightfully tagged as in my 30′s at 14.9 tho. Mr Average!

    I managed to get the 15.9 as well, although I wonder if the frequency response of the headphones and speakers I try it on has a bigger bearing on it. For example, my MacBook’s speakers couldn’t play anything higher than 12 – I had to use a pair of headphones for the others.

    Hey, how about some scientific method in an investigation. I’m intrigued yet dubious. Did Jamie Somers ever subject herself to such tests?
