Had a day trip to Wanganui yesterday. It was quite pleasant, visited family and friends, and took the boys to Kowhai Park which they LOVED. It’s such a crazy old-fashioned park with mad concrete creations and dangerous-looking stone steps. Maybe that’s why they loved it so. Then we drove back through the night while Jan provided a diverse soundtrack from the mp3 player.

Archie is four tomorrow and I’m heading off to the Warehouse shortly for a pre-birthday run. We have decided what he really needs is a talking Buzz Lightyear.
