Park Pleasure

Island Bay ParkAfter hearing very good things from James about the park near the Island Bay foreshore, we went there yesterday, desperate for some swingin’ and slidin’. Very pleased to report that it is indeed the best park we’ve been to in Wellington so far. A well fenced off toddler park, plenty of swings, a giant slide for the bigger kids and of course the wooden ship complete with crows’ nest. And as we were leaving, I imagined I spotted James himself, high aloft in the crows’ nest, surveying his domain… was it him?

that was my favourite park when I was little but the old one got covered in sand so Its a new playground now, mmm goes with fish and chips or icecreams.

oh he’s very handsome. I also love that park though at trhe moment i fear its a wee bit too cold to venture out to the seaside. The slide there is great especially if you bring a hawaian shirt to sit on…you real fast.

We too have had many a good time there. perilous slide though, turns toddlers into missiles.

Aha! Yes. It was the nzmusic pseudonyms that got me confused for some reason. And the facial hair. Facial hair confuses me.
