Archie has just returned from his first day at kindergarten and by all accounts it went well. Though Jan says he is by far the smallest one there! He had fun, did painting and playdoh and waterplay and everything there was to do! Harry got a bit jealous of Archie’s backpack when he left, so I dragged a little backpack out for Harry. He promptly filled it with two books, a toy phone, a rabbit puppet, and a cracker, and wore it round for most of the morning!
It’s a strange idea, Archie having so much time apart from us, the beginnings of a separate life. I am a bit sad and a bit proud and a bit worried… but then it is only three mornings a week!
