A Public Death

// May 26th, 2005 // Internets, Life

I have been totally freaked out by this case, a guy who was murdered (along with his sister) but fingered the killer in his last blog entry. (via Scribble Me This)

Anyway today has been weird, at 3 some guy ringed the bell. I went down and recognized it was my sister’s former boyfriend. He told me he wants to get his fishing poles back. I told him to wait downstair while I get them for him. While I was searching them, he is already in the house. He is still here right now, smoking, walking all around the house with his shoes on which btw I just washed the floor 2 days ago! Hopefully he will leave soon…

How weird to think of him, just blogging away like the rest of us, and then suddenly, there will never be any more entries, and instead his blog becomes a historical document, where people leave endless comments that say “R.I.P.”

It’s like a blogging existential crisis – any entry could be your last, so better make it a good one!!

    That’s just downright scary… reminds me of a while back when I saw IRC-logs of some guy taking an overdose and the rest of the people trying to stop him and retrieve his address to be able to call 911. Help came too late there too :(
