Joss Rules The Heavens
Jan and I have just finished watching Joss Whedon’s illfated sci fi series, Firefly, on DVD. It was cancelled before it even finished its first season. A tragedy as I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s a true western set in outer space, horses and hovercraft, whores and psychics; a great cast of characters and fascinating back story that never got the chance to unravel properly.
I was very glad to hear that Joss is now making a movie of the show called Serenity, due out in September. Maybe the movie will be a hit and they can make it into a tv show (again)!
So, if you get a chance, watch Firefly, highly recommended. And shiny.

It is an interestingly good series… am a few eps in myself. Joss is a really cool story teller, yay him! You can even get some more of his amusing stylings in his blog on the Serenity webiste.

Hmmm… I’d given up on Firefly. I’m a huge Joss fan. But now I might give it another go :)
