Happiness Is A Warm Gun

I realised yesterday that I am feeling damn happy! “Happier Than a Puppy with 2 peckers“. Just continually grinning and bouncing about the place.

I think it’s because the long hard road of moving back to NZ is nearly over with. After all the stress of making the decision, packing up, moving to Auckland, packing up again, going back to Sydney, packing up again, and finally buying the house, the only thing that now remains is a relaxing four week stay on a farm and then finally our goals are all reached. (Probably at that point I will sink into a morass of depression!)

I don’t know if this elevated state of happiness is a good thing, as George Bernard Shaw said “The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact than a drunken man is happier than a sober one.” But I guess I will just enjoy it while it lasts!

Well, I hope that feeling lasts a very, very long time indeed! Joy! :)

Yay for being happy and making the decision that made you so.
