Minnie Dido Driver
I was shocked to read this on the SMH website this morning:
“She might have starred in hit films including Circle Of Friends and Good Will Hunting, but Minnie Driver is preparing to launch her music career. Given she’s a well-known actor (and paparazzi favourite) you would imagine Driver’s foray into the music industry would create a titter of amusement among the British and US industry heavyweights, but it is already quite the opposite.”
And what is that special quality that the critics are raving about? Apparently our Minnie sounds like an “alt-country Dido”.
Just what the music world needs - I can hardly wait.
