The Visitor
ACP is here from Sydney so I have been very busy and not been blogging at all! Sorry about that. We have been having a lovely time playing Singstar, driving around and having sticker photos! We are thinking of hiring a camper van and going away for four days or so down the island a bit, so ACP can see some more exciting sights than Auckland suburbs. Could be great fun.
Yesterday we went to Sky City Metro, a big cinema complex in town, it was so amazing! Little gangways everywhere, pink neon stairways and blue neon escalators, and a Flash Gordon-esque lift. It was all a bit scary though, see through bits and great heights. Then I found out a teenager died there about 4 years ago, fell off a railing he was sitting on and plummeted three floors. I don’t think you could have a building like it in Australia due to public liability laws! But it is spectacular.
