Just took a wander up to the local Point Chev shops, in search of some printable DVD+R’s, but to no avail. The man at the computer gave me a lecture about how my DVD burner probably burned -R’s as well, and if not I had been sold a lemon! Gee thanks Mr Computer Store, I’ll be sure and tell Dell that. Argh! Perhaps DVD-R’s are winning the format war after all. Found an upmarket $2 store and popped into the Pt Chev library. Then bought some Snifters (delicious minty nougat NZ lolly)
Such is life in Pt Chev.

snifters! that makes ME think of… going to the “a taste of home” shop (aka “skippy’s lunchbox”) located handily/spookily near our flat and picking up TREATS!!! they sell all major nz/oz/sa (go figure) munchie food, and also delicious beers. mmm…beer…
