We are feeling like we are haemorraging cash at the moment, getting so many things that we need for our new home / my new office. Just bought a second hand bed from the Trader. Jan has to go out and get it from Howick this afternoon. It’s pretty ugly but could be uglier, seems comfy which is v.important, and it is a king size so hopefully it can accomodate Harry as well as us - he is such a bed hog. Time to start learning the way of the cot.

Also yesterday I bought a printer, scanner and monitor for the office. The laptop screen just doesn’t cut it for creating websites, as those damn graphic designers love to use colours like light beige which don’t show up AT ALL on the LCD screen. And I was getting antsy without a scanner and printer. Splurged a bit on the printer and got a Canon i865, mainly because it prints photos very well AND it can print directly onto CDs! Cool eh? I am yet to install and give it a test though.

Karen & Dennis brought round some more furniture last night as they are going to Melbourne on Friday. Bad timing for friendship, good timing for furniture acquisition. Archie now has Fred’s single bed and I have two tables for my office, plus an extra one for a dining table. Still a severe chair shortage. We finally watched Kill Bill Vol 1 last night. I enjoyed but found it quite bizarre, fun and gory and styley.

Getting my wireless broadband on Monday - 2Mps! Wowsa. It has a 20GB monthly limit which I think will be sufficient…
