Congratulations to my brother Ned and future sister-in-law Danilia, who are now officially engaged! Ned popped the question over the weekend at a romantic getaway in the Blue Mountains. It’s the first wedding of our generation in the family, so we are all very excited - and couldn’t imagine a nicer couple - so well done guys.

And on another note, Jan and I may soon be able to get “civil unioned” in New Zealand. The new Civil Union legislation is going before NZ parliament this week. Read more here.
