Big Brother Anticipation
I was very entertained to see this image on the cover of this week’s New Weekly. Not only would it be exceedingly amusing if true, it signifies the impending return of Big Brother madness to Australian TV screens. May 2! I can’t wait!
Luckily it is also screened in New Zealand, 24 hours behind, otherwise we would just have to stay in Australia. The L Word might not be on there though! Shock!
And as for the story, it was rather tame and baseless - they went out to a pub together one night. The best thing about it was Gretel’s response: “Should anything develop with Saxon, like marriage, kids and a four wheel drive, the whole world will be the first to know.”
I love Gretel.
By the way, the mag also contained a big spread about the Olsen twins and their new sexy image. I fear I could be getting an unhealthy obsession with them.

I am pleased to hear of the impending arrival of another Australian BB over here in the back water known as NZ.
Quite offended you thought we wouldn’t be up with the play, with the L word.
Sadly though, you are right, it screeneth not over here!
On the bright side at least we have the Civil Law Reform Bill…so all you Lespians can soon be married, if you so desire…and of course, there is our primeminister!

the L word is also unheard of in the uk. this country is fully lame-ass when it comes to american tv! and when they DO buy a show, the cable networks buy it first so us luddites without sky have to wait until the entire series (or 2 or 3) has screened before our terretrial channel is allowed to show it!! [ i’m talking Buffy, Angel, Sopranos, SATC, six feet under, etc…]not that i’m bitter about it or anything…!
