Anzac Day Fraud!

I was just browsing through two-twenty and discovered this post about the Anzac Day Party in Gallipoli.

Judging from the news broadcasts here in Australia, the dawn service at Gallipoli is a moving tribute to the fallen, attended by brave Australians who refuse to be cowed by the evil specter of terrorism.

According to this post, it’s “shitloads of aussies boozing it up, first in istanbul, then on the aegean coast, purportedly as some kind of commemoration of their ancestors who fought during world war one”

Which seems more likely?

The boozing, definitely. What other country in the world requires it’s citizens to have a paid day off drinking and gambling?
