Doctor’s Verdict
Good news from Archie’s visit to the ENT doctor. They tested his hearing and it was fine, totally within normal range. And they think his grommets are still in. So no more operations (yet) and we can rule out hearing loss as a cause of his delay in speech. Mind you as a prep for this doctor’s visit, we had to put this yucky stuff called Waxsol in his ear which apparently dissolves wax etc (so Dr Lowinger could get a good look) and we’re sure he has been a lot more vocal over the last three or four days. But, as always, time will tell with that one! Anyway we are very happy that it’s good news.
I have been trailing around looking at other blogs, a lot more meaningful than this one, it’s all quite interesting. Started with the Bloggies where the best weblogs in the world are given kudos. The Australian winner was Loobylu who has an incredibly cute website, with quite a lot of knitting on it - hmm. Also found Aussieblogs.
What is it with every member of a family having a blog? Should I create one for Archie and one for Harry and one for Jan? And then have to add entries to them all, especially Jan’s as she is the least likely to update hers… hmm, actually, this is sounding a little silly. And do other people plan out what is going in their entry, maybe review and edit before they post… oh, it’s all so confusing - think I’ll go back to surfing now.
