Weekend Wrapup
We all had a great weekend. Mark and Simon came by for a BBQ lunch on Saturday, we went to a 2 year old birthday on Sunday (happy birthday Lola), then Ant popped in and finally Helen & Rosie turned up to watch Six Feet Under. Very pleasant! The boys are both well.
Now, The Bill on Saturday - HATED IT! Why did they think locking Jim, Polly, June and Tony in a basement together would be a great plot development? I wish they had all suffocated from gas poisoning after all. Boring! And have we seen the last of Gemma, the only lesbian in the history of the Bill? Damn them!

Well I thought the Bill was just tits! At first I thought they were going to do the predictable resolve all the underlying issues thing… then I thought “no, they are all going to be burnt to a crisp!”… but actually it served to amplify all the tensions by bringing them out into the open. Now Jim will be in a loveless marriage to a psycho, while his true love and superior resents him and makes his life hell. Tony will be all tragic and chasing Polly’s ugly sweater-tails… and probably self-destruct. While Polly probably has another breakdown due to disfunctional men …and all those bad hair do’s and clothes she wears. Love trash TV! :)
