How was your weekend?
Mine was great, thanks for asking. On Saturday we went to Ikea and bought an ‘entertainment unit’ as our tv was just standing on two pews. Of course Ikea was a total nightmare - packed with people and the colour we wanted was not in stock so we picked another colour, then had to go to some warehouse two blocks away and mill around with 30 others waiting to pick it up! But still it is so much cheaper (and more styling) than other options.
Then Saturday evening, Jake & Annie came around and we had a great big barbecue in honour of Aunt Deborah who was over for a conference. It was lovely though the weather was a little grim. Thankfully the rain never materialised.
Spent most of Sunday putting the ‘entertainment unit’ together and then unpacking the DVD collection onto it - oh joy!
Archie had a very clever day yesterday. He learnt how to grab onto toys dangling on his bouncinette and then was waving at his Auntie Rosie!! Amazing.
