Harry - The Verdict
Well, yesterday afternoon Rosie, Jan, Archie and I headed off to see Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone… the verdict - very good! I did enjoy it a lot but it was missing something from the books - can’t put my finger on what as it was a very faithful adaptation - maybe just… soul! But still I do recommend it. There was a trailer from Episode II on before it which was not very encouraging - it looked rather cliched in fact! So now it’s time in Emily movie land to focus on Fellowship of the Ring - Boxing Day!
Was excited yesterday by the launch of the Segway Human Transporter. Looks like an amazing device but it seems like it is a replacement for walking - just what the Americans need!
Archie and Jan have headed off for mother’s group this morning (first time on their own) as I stay home to do some work. Rosie is ensconced inside watching South Park!
